HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?

There are lots of opportunities for everyone to get involved. Such opportunities include:

Get Trained

2 Day Community Organising Training

This 2 day Training is based on the philosophy and practices of community organising developed by the Industrial Areas Foundation in over 65 years of successful organising experience.  These ideas are translated to an Australian context. Here we learn how we can work together for the common good.

Schools Leadership Training

The Schools Leadership Training is a flexible program catered to high school leaders, particularly SRC, prefects, and social justice committees and the schools they come from. Its purpose is to develop the capacity of student leaders to be a voice for their fellow students and lead their school community (and to eventually lead in the wider community).

Anti-Racism Bystander Action Training

The Antir-Racism Bystander Action: Train the Trainer training is a project aimed at giving ordinary Australians in this region of Sydney the means to appropriately challenge public acts of racism and racial vilification in their local community as well as skill them to train others. The training will target ordinary people from these organisations; workers from the human and community services sector as well as people from faith-based communities and Unions in our region.
